Welcome to my little slice of internet pie, my name is Nick Bartone. I've spent that past 4 years of my life studying Visual Effects at Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm happy to report that commencement is just days away, and I'm eagerly stepping forward into the next chapter of my life. It's a feeling like you felt when you were a kid, the closer you get to Christmas the excitement builds up to a crescendo until it finally explodes in a flurry as the wrapping paper melts away from packages like you just popped the lid of the Arc. But I digress. As my college career comes to an end, I've been actively looking for full-time positions for Lighting on feature films. No job offers yet to report :nudge nudge:, but I'm hopeful!
The purpose of this site is to be a commonplace for a collection of my thoughts, artwork, and technical workflows. Very shortly, this blog section of the site will be converted to be maintained by Wordpress, but while I work some wizardry on styles and skinning for Wordpress, I'll be trucking along in manual.
